The Managed Cloud Services team is looking for an experienced Technical Operations Manager to lead a highly skilled technical team responsible for supporting SAS customer environments in the cloud. This role is accountable for service reliability, operational execution, process improvement, and people leadership across complex enterprise environments. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in cloud technologies, and a keen focus on delivering exceptional service to our clients. We need your tenacious and energetic leadership to fuel our success!
As a Manager, Managed Cloud Operations, you will:
  • Lead operational execution across customer environments, ensuring priorities, escalations, and service commitments are managed effectively.
  • Partner with customer-facing, engineering, security, and service delivery teams to improve service quality and operational outcomes.
  • Drive consistent execution of ITSM processes, including incident, problem, change, escalation, and continuous service improvement practices.
  • Act as a key operational interface between technical teams, service delivery teams, engineering, and leadership.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts during major incidents and strategic customer initiatives.
  • Participate in customer-facing operational reviews and escalation discussions.
  • Translate technical findings into clear business and customer impacts.
  • Develop team capability through coaching, career development, performance management, and technical growth planning.

Required qualifications:
  • US Citizen required.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, application support, and/or technical consulting including:
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership role with 2 years in a formal management role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with SAS systems or SAS programming.
