Job description

Position Purpose:
This Manager Decision Analytics position manages people and processes related to the development of advanced analytics to support the company's strategic objectives. This role is responsible for the end-to-end development and integration of data products, with a specific focus on CRM related data and its seamless integration with our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). The ideal candidate will possess exceptional SQL, data visualization, and analytical skills to not only develop but also to effectively communicate data-driven insights. A key function of this role will be to collaborate closely with stakeholders to define the intent and logic of data updates, ensuring they align with business expectations before production work begins. Furthermore, this individual will be tasked with curating and translating business requirements into actionable Jira stories for our EDW engineers, acting as a critical bridge between our business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 40% Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, colleagues, developers and business analysts to deliver high quality analytics solutions
  • 45% Data analytics with large volumes of data, using a wide variety of database applications / analytical tools including SQL, SAS, R, and python
  • 5% Data cleansing, validation, testing
  • 5% Enhancements / modifications to systems & procedures
  • 5% Supporting end users, problem solving, troubleshooting

  • Reports to a Sr Manager, Decision Analytics.

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
