Job description

Summary of Duties: Works as an Individual Contributor and reports to a Director, Finance. Provide financial planning, reporting, actionable insights, analysis and strategic decision support to drive business growth and profitability. Ensure the alignment and optimization of business and financial goals, strategies, plans, policies, processes and controls across the organization. Advise business executive leadership on financial planning. Assist the development of and execution of financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Leverage competitive information, industry trends, customer metrics and market dynamics to inform company and divisional targets, strategies and plans. Manage the delivery of divisional budgets and forecasts and key performance indicators (KPI) to measure success. Provide support on deals and bids, ensuring deal margin and risk is managed and that deals are shaped and classified in line with ASC606 and internal policy. Formulate new financial policies, processes and controls and ensure their effective implementation. Conduct quantitative analyses of information involving investment programs or financial data of public or private institutions, including valuation of businesses. May work remotely pursuant to SAS' Flexible Work Program. **Note this is not a high level manager role but rather at the Individual Contributor level who reports to a high level manager, Director, Finance**.
Qualifications: Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field plus eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or as an Accountant, Process Outsourcing, or related occupation.
Requires an ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders and C-Suite. Requires experience with data analysis and visualization techniques and software to manipulate and interpret financial data. Requires advanced financial analysis capability, including scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and advanced forecasting techniques. Requires experience with Strategic Financial Planning, including developing long-range financial strategies and plans that align with the company's overall objectives and growth plans. Requires the ability to identify risks proactively, implement risk mitigation strategies and assess potential impacts on the business. Requires extensive technology sector knowledge, emerging trends and competitive landscape. Requires strong awareness of global economic trends and geopolitical climate and potential impact and opportunities for the company. Requires advanced knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles including standards, financial reporting and revenue recognition specific to the technology industry. Requires experience in managing financial change management efforts and guiding an organization through significant transformation. May work remotely pursuant to SAS' Flexible Work Program. **Note this is not a high level manager role but rather at the Individual Contributor level who reports to a high level manager, Director, Finance**
