This position is an onsite only position in Pinellas County, Florida.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Established in 1970, Boley Centers, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization serving individuals with mental disabilities, individuals and families who are homeless, Veterans and youth in Pinellas County. Boley Centers has an opportunity for a full-time Data & I.T. System Analyst to oversee all CFBHN / Florida behavioral health state data reporting for Boley Centers and for advancing the organizationโ€™s enterprise data analytics and KPI infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this role serves as Boleyโ€™s internal subject-matter expert for state reporting accuracy, data integrity, and performance measurement.

The position works in close collaboration with the SAS EHR team, Accounting and Finance, Clinical Leadership, and Executive Leadership to ensure that data captured in the electronic health record is accurate, compliant, and aligned with billing, audits, and strategic decision-making. This role plays a critical function in protecting organizational revenue, ensuring regulatory compliance, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that support operational excellence and organizational sustainability.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • CFBHN / Florida State Reporting Leadership- Serve as Boleyโ€™s lead expert for all Florida behavioral health state reporting requirements (CFBHN / FASAMS or successor systems), ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant submissions.
  • Accounting & Revenue Integrity Alignment- Work closely with Accounting and Finance to reconcile state reporting data with billing, claims, and revenue, identifying discrepancies and resolving variances that impact reimbursement.
  • EHR Data Extraction & Management- Extract, transform, and analyze data from the SAS-supported Netsmart Avatar EHR and related systems to support reporting, reconciliation, and analytics.
  • Enterprise KPI Development & Maintenance- Design, develop, and maintain organizational KPI dashboards supporting executive, operational, clinical, and financial performance management.
  • Advanced Reporting & Analytics- Build and maintain standardized and ad-hoc reports using SQL, Crystal Reports, SSRS, Power BI, and related analytics tools.
  • Data Quality & Governance Oversight- Establish and monitor data quality standards, validation controls, and governance practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
  • SAS EHR Team Collaboration- Partner closely with the SAS EHR team to align system configuration, data structures, workflows, and reporting logic with state reporting and KPI requirements.
  • Technical Troubleshooting & Optimization- Troubleshoot complex reporting, data integrity, and submission issues, coordinating across IT, SAS, Finance, and program teams as needed.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management- Develop and maintain technical documentation, workflows, data dictionaries, and reporting procedures to support continuity and transparency.
  • Strategic & Executive Data Support- Provide trend analysis, performance insights, and data-driven recommendations to executive leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelorโ€™s degree required in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Health Informatics, or related field. (Masterโ€™s degree preferred).
