Technical
Hands-on experience on SAS EBI suite
Hands-on experience on working in Unix/Linux and Shell scripting
Responsible for Monitoring, reporting, and controlling SAS Server usage
Good debugging skills to identify issues in Data and at Infrastructure level.
Can describe existing technology infrastructure across all major functions/departments and has a comprehensive grasp of emerging technologies:
Has a competent understanding of safe and effective support practices
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
Hands on experience in SAS BI on SAS 9.2, SAS 9.4 Grid platforms, including SAS Connect, SAS/Intranet Server, SAS OLAP Server, SAS Metadata Server, SAS Object Spawner
Knowledge on tuning the SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence Server Platform to optimize the Server Performance
Experience with databases like Oracle.
Strong understanding of software languages, platforms, tools, ITIL framework and methodologies such as SDLC and agile
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in migrating SAS Enterprise Server to SAS Grid in Linux environment.
Experience in Infrastructure analysis tools like Ganglia, App Dynamics
