Job description

Come join our team! Mobius is seeking Advanced Security Engineers to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Special Access Program Central Office (SAPCO) in the National Capital region, Huntsville, AL, and Colorado Springs, CO.

These positions provide security engineering, systems integration, and technical advisory support for MDA Special Access Program activities nationwide. The role focuses on helping SAPCO assess and protect advanced technologies, support SAP governance and reporting, advise senior leaders and program offices, and enable secure integration of classified capabilities into SAP environments. Work will be performed at a government site within an accredited SAP Facility, including an SAP Compartmented Area located within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility.

Duties of an Advanced Security Engineer may include: 

  • Represent MDA within the DoD SAP community
  • Support SAP governance, administration, and reporting requirements; and advising on advanced concepts and technologies that require protection, assessment, or integration into SAP environments.
  • Provide subject matter expert support to the SAPCO, the SAP front office, senior leaders, command group, and SAP Program Offices, while collaborating with multidisciplinary technical teams to develop analysis and engineering tools.

Qualifications

  • Capable of providing advanced concept and technology expertise to the MDA Special Access Program Central Office in support of Ballistic Missile Defense System activities, including assessment of technologies requiring SAP protection, integration, or transition into secure program environments.
  • Ability to recommend security architectures, structures, and controls that enable systems engineering, test and evaluation, modeling and simulation, and operational transition activities while protecting critical information and maintaining SAP compliance.
  • Experience evaluating classified technologies to assess their operational and programmatic value, develop classification recommendations, and support integration planning for technologies entering or operating within SAP environments.
  • More than 10 years of specialized experience in security engineering, systems engineering, technology protection, program protection, or related SAP support activities.

Education 

  • Doctorate, MA, or MS in engineering, security studies, systems engineering, program protection, or a related technical field.

Clearance 

  • Active Top Secret clearance and be eligible for SCI.
