SAP Technician

Reports to: Shift Supervisor

Location: Dalton, GA

Classification: Hourly

SUMMARY
SAP Technician/Floater is responsible for the timely and accurate movement of inventory between the 3rd party logistics team stock room and production floor. Must be versed in Inventory Management Systems and possess moderate skill with Excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate movement of materials from backstock area to production floor as requested by Management team
  • Maintain and update inventory records
  • Able to receive order information and accurately relay to 3rd party vendor staff
  • Experience in high volume Manufacturing data -entry
  • Responsible for scheduling and maintaining lead time for materials
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and non-verbal
  • Assist inventory control systems and warehouse functions in maintaining accuracy of information
  • Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions
  • Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS
  • Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management
  • Responsible for covering absences on the production floor due to call outs or vacations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Extensive technical knowledge of inventory management and controls best practices
  • 2+ year experience with ERP systems
  • Discipline to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction
  • Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills
  • Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Able to stand and be on feet for up to 12 hours

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with SAP programs
  • 2+ years in Manufacturing
