Job description

Job Summary:
InterSources Inc is a Small, Woman, and Minority-Owned Business Enterprise with over 18 years of experience in providing IT Consulting Services. They are seeking an SAP Technical Support Engineer I to gather and analyze requirements, design and develop reporting solutions, and support data extraction and reporting initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements from agencies and stakeholders
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Business Objects reports, dashboards, and universes
• Create and present reporting prototypes and alternative reporting solutions
• Develop functional and technical specifications for reporting initiatives
• Optimize Business Objects universes, data structures, and reporting performance
• Perform root cause analysis and provide support for existing reporting solutions
• Create detailed technical documentation, data dictionaries, and knowledge transfer materials
• Support data extraction and reporting through SAP BW, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Tableau, and Excel
• Design and maintain Tableau dashboards and Tableau Server environments
• Manage Tableau security, user access, publishing, upgrades, and data sources
• Develop ETL workflows using SSIS, Azure Synapse, and related technologies
• Collaborate with DEA and state agencies to deliver enterprise reporting solutions
• Support data integration initiatives involving SCEIS and non-SCEIS data sources
• Serve as a reporting and analytics subject matter expert for statewide SAP initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience with SAP Business Objects architecture and components
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing complex Web Intelligence reports and dashboards
• 5+ years of experience developing Business Intelligence applications and reporting solutions in SAP environments
• 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining Crystal Reports
• 5+ years of Tableau Administration experience
• 3+ years of Public Sector/Government experience
• Strong experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong understanding of Business Warehouse (BW), Business Objects, reporting, analytics, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with dimensional modeling and data warehouse methodologies
Preferred:
• Experience with South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS)
• Knowledge of South Carolina state reporting standards and requirements
• Microsoft SSIS (ETL Development and Data Integration)
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• SAP BW reporting and analytics tools
• Tableau Server administration and governance
