Job description


In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
• Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities
• Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP package, based on detailed business requirements
• Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance
• Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications
• Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and to ensure that ERP customizations are in compliance with security measures and regulatory standards
• Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer

• Knowledge of ERP systems and integration techniques, along with sector focus
• The ability to handle end to end ERP package customization and implementation
• A knack for translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.

• Hands on Experience with Solution Manager
• Proven experience in delivering Automations
• Downtime minimized migration approaches
• Tuning and optimization of migration processes
• Expertise in Version/EhP upgrades
• Expertise in Capacity Planning
• Expertise in SAP on AWS and Azure cloud
• Experience on RedWood & uPerform
• Conceptual knowledge of Network routing
• SAP related archiving platforms (e.g. Opentext/IXOS, IBM common store) and WORM storage solutions (e.g. EMC Centera, iTernity ICAS)
• Monitoring platforms for SAP(e.g. Avantra/XANDRIA, Nagios, Icinga, SolarWinds)
• SAP R/3 (outdated versions)
• SAP Business Objects
Install, upgrade, and patch SAP systems (SAP S/4HANA, NetWeaver, ECC).
• Proactively monitor system health using Solution Manager, SAPGUI, and Early Watch reports to maintain optimal performance.
• Configure and execute the transport of code/configuration changes between environments (Development, QA, Production).
• Perform daily database administration, including backups, restores, and disaster recovery testing.
• Provide 24/7 technical support, resolving incidents, and managing printer/spool administration.
• Manage system refreshes, clones, and copies
Additional Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
