Role Summary

We are seeking a Junior SAP Security Analyst to support global SAP security operations across ECC (primary), GRC, and BW environments. This is a critical hire that will provide much-needed bandwidth to our global SAP security team. The role is heavily focused on production support, with opportunities to take on project work and grow into broader SAP security responsibilities.

This is a very technical, hands-on position ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills who thrives in a fast-paced, always-on environment and wants to build a long-term career in SAP Security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily production support for SAP Security across ECC, GRC, and BW systems
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP security issues quickly and effectively
  • Perform root cause analysis on security-related incidents
  • Assist with SAP security configuration, user access, and authorization troubleshooting
  • Create and maintain technical and end-user documentation
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to support high-impact security requests
  • Participate in upcoming SAP security projects and initiatives

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of SAP production support experience (highly preferred – this is production support, not project implementation or consulting)
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to ramp up quickly
  • Ability to read and understand ABAP code
  • Experience with debugging and scripting (VB, eCATT, CATT, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VBA
  • Familiarity with BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits is a plus
  • Experience creating technical and end-user documentation
  • Computer Science or related technical degree preferred, but strong hands-on experience is more important

Ideal Candidate

  • Has a curious, troubleshooting mindset and enjoys solving complex technical problems
  • Demonstrates resilience and ownership in high-pressure situations
  • Possesses excellent communication skills and can work effectively with global teams
  • Wants to grow into a specialized SAP Security expert role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and build deep expertise in SAP Security while making an immediate impact through critical production support.
