SAP NS2 Supplier Relationship Management & GSA Associated - Newtown Square PA

This position requires access to customer data; Must be a U.S. citizen.  SAP NS2 does not offer Visa sponsorship for this role.  All internals must have managerโ€™s approval to transfer. 

In order to be considered, candidates must be located within a commutable distance to Newtown Square, PA working 3 days in the office.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Supports the strategic design and execution of the Supplier function between SAP NS2 and SAP SE. This may include 1 or more functions that are performed to meet SAP SE and SAP NS2 Supplier requirements and targets that result from agreed objectives or SAP internal policies/processes/guidelines.
  • Serves as a conduit between SAP NS2 and SAP SE and will need to interface with the many local, regional, or global parent company counterparts (internal and external) to achieve desired results/services.
  • Facilitates communication and coordination between NS2 and U.S. Government stakeholders regarding GSA contractual requirements, obligations, and performance.
  • Prepare a commercial subcontracting plan once per year and submit to the Government's Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO)
  • Serve as the main point of contact with the Government for all matters related to the subcontracting plan outlined within the GSA.
  • Oversee the collection of subcontracting data across the enterprise
  • Collect size and socio-economic type assertions from subcontracting partners.
  • Fosters continued process improvement for more efficient business results.  
  • Presents analysis/recommendations to management. Applies Supplier Management knowledge to execute sourcing projects.
  • Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. 
  • Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
  • Provides expertise to procurement project teams and participates in purchasing cross functional initiatives.

Project area leader:

  • Leads 1 or more complex projects where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
  • Leads and executes NS2 projects in co-operation with internal strategic customers independently.
  • Leads and provides guidance to procurement project teams and participates in purchasing cross functional initiatives.
  • Follows sound project management practices.

Delivers functional expertise and provides operational support to advance strategic objectives within his or her area of specialization.   Supports  activities to ensure roll-out strategy and implementation into the organization.

  • Responsible for proactively establishing service levels.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction.

Policy:

  • Oversees compliance to the SAP Global Purchasing Policy and all other specific policies
  • Maintains all necessary documents to ensure transparency and audit compliance.

Sourcing:

  • Executes selection, sourcing, implementation and development of global / regional suppliers with SAP SE.
  • Follows strategic sourcing principles which include supporting supplier negotiations with SAP SE GPO in a virtual environment.
  • Creates and manages NS2, regional and local contracts.
  • Oversees NS2 preferred supplier lists.
  • Supports vital Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Oversees NS2 preferred supplier lists.
  • Establish standards and requirements for procurement activities as well as supplier and customer management.

Reporting:

  • Performs reporting for all Procurement related topics. 

Performs reporting & filing for all GSA related obligations.  Including one Summary Subcontracting Report (SSR) per year.

Savings:

  • Provides support to the business unit through strategic initiatives that generate savings, increase operational efficiencies, and mitigate risk exposure.
  • Provide training, reports and knowledge sharing in area of expertise
  • According to their specified role collects relevant information from all resources to transfer knowledge across organizational boundaries, support escalation management and support organizational learning as knowledge brokers.

Establish and support internal NS2 guidelines for Supply Management that adhere to internal and governmental regulations

  • Responsible for supporting the execution of the NS2 strategy and objectives.
  • Document NS2 strategies.

Experience and Education:

  • University degree preferably in Business Administration, engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.  A combination of equivalent work and life experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • 2-5 years experience in procurement in the following areas: develop and execute complex sourcing strategies for a category or region, high value RFX execution, manage complex and high value requirements including complex pricing negotiations and understand and negotiate complex legal contract terms and conditions.

Professional Training and Certification:

  • Professional certification in Supply Management or equivalent

The targeted annual combined range for this position is 59900-134600USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
