JOB SUMMARY: 

The SAP Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, and overseeing SAP-related projects, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives that support Dassault Falcon Jet business operations. Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders, Business Process Owners (BPOs), key users, IT teams, and Dassault Aviation counterparts, this position ensures project objectives are achieved, priorities are aligned with business needs, and SAP solutions deliver measurable operational value. 

The SAP Project Manager provides project leadership, facilitates issue resolution, supports business process optimization, coordinates user training activities, and drives the successful implementation of system improvements. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure SAP initiatives remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with company objectives. 

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Project Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 
  • 3+ years of project management, business systems, SAP support, or related experience. 
  • Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. 
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional teams and business discussions. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management tools. 
  • Ability to document business processes, requirements, and project status effectively. 

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Experience with SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, or related SAP platforms. 
  • Experience working with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and key users. 
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies. 
  • Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, MS Planner or similar project tracking tools. 
  • Knowledge of aerospace, manufacturing, MRO, customer service, or supply chain operations. 
  • French language proficiency is desirable. 
  • PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or similar project management certification preferred.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): 

SAP Project Leadership 

  • Lead SAP-related projects, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives from planning through implementation. 
  • Develop project plans, schedules, status reports, and risk mitigation strategies. 
  • Monitor project progress and ensure milestones, deliverables, and objectives are achieved. 
  • Escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies as necessary. 

Stakeholder Coordination and Communication 

  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between business stakeholders, BPOs, key users, IT teams, and Dassault Aviation counterparts. 
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and status reviews. 
  • Communicate project status, priorities, risks, and achievements to management and leadership. 
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and SAP solution delivery. 

Business Process Improvement 

  • Collaborate with departments to identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements. 
  • Assist business teams in defining requirements, documenting processes, and developing functional specifications. 
  • Support the evaluation and prioritization of enhancement requests. 

Issue and Change Management 

  • Oversee tracking and resolution of SAP-related issues utilizing approved tools and processes. 
  • Ensure issues are appropriately documented, prioritized, tested, and validated after deployment. 
  • Coordinate corrective actions and enhancement implementation activities. 

Training and User Adoption 

  • Partner with BPOs and business leaders to develop training materials, job aids, and work instructions. 
  • Coordinate training activities supporting new functionality and business process changes. 
  • Promote user adoption and continuous improvement best practices across the organization. 

Governance and Reporting 

  • Maintain project documentation, status reporting, and performance metrics. 
  • Support SAP governance processes, change control activities, and prioritization efforts. 
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, project methodologies, and documentation requirements. 

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): 

  • Participate in departmental and cross-functional meetings. 
  • Assist with process documentation and knowledge management initiatives. 
  • Support testing activities for system upgrades and releases. 
  • Coordinate and communicate scheduled and unscheduled SAP and SAP-Related system outages with business users 
  • Provide occasional support for audits, compliance reviews, and reporting activities. 
  • Mentor users and project team members on project management best practices. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position typically falls between $85,000 and $100,000 per year.  This position is not eligible for overtime. 

Note: the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
