Sr. SAP Project Leader - Consultant The Sr. SAP Project Leader is responsible for leading and driving high impact, cross-functional SAP implementation projects through all phases of the project life cycle.

This individual will be responsible for all of the project planning and controlling activities such as scope, schedule, and budget management. In addition to being able to manage the project, this individual needs exceptional leadership skills in order to properly motivate the team and handle the people dynamics of the project. The Sr.

SAP Project Leader needs experience in leading cross-functional teams across various organizations through requirements definition, functional specifications, detailed design, coding, testing, operations training, and implementation activities relating to the deployment of SAP. This position is not suitable for administrative project managers. This individual must be hands-on and able to get into the details of the project while maintaining the broader business goals and objectives.

The Sr. SAP Project Leader must be able to balance business goals and objectives and the implementation of SAP within an organization. The role of Sr.

SAP Project Leader is a contract position, offers competitive compensation and may require weekly travel. Travel expenses will be reimbursed by the company. Applicants based in Atlanta or the Southeast would be preferred.

Minimum Requirements: 10+ years business project management experience Current PMP Certification or equivalent Information Technology perspective - need to understand the full SDLC Business Operations perspective - need to understand the operational impacts of process improvements and SAP implementations Responsibilities: Lead and motivate cross-functional team Build a team environment that encourages collaboration and communication Accountable for project scope, schedule, and budget Assist in the identification and assignment of project resources Accountable for resolution of project issues and risks across all business and technical areas Coordination of requirements management and analysis activities Coordination of the development activities Develop project plans and use project management skills appropriately to ensure timely delivery of customer solutions Define of the desired outcomes of the SAP implementation project Assess whether the current activities are aligned to reach the desired outcomes Identify key risks to the project's success, and recommend actions to mitigate these risks Provide deep gap analysis between the current state and the desired state Determine the probability of the project delivering the desired value, and propose actions to increase this probability Recommend changes in direction, including the use of the additional SAP verticals, as applicable Review current implementation strategy and confirm business drivers Identify & Prioritize Recommendations / Opportunities for Improvement Develop the roadmap to attain improvements
