Job description

Job Description
As an SAP Production Planning consultant specializing in S/4 HANA, you will be responsible for providing expertise in configuring, implementing, and optimizing the Production Planning, Execution and Quality Management modules within SAP S/4 HANA. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions within the SAP ecosystem. Your role will involve configuring and customizing SAP systems, conducting Design and solution workshops, providing guidance on best practices, and executing project tasks for successful delivery of projects.
You will report to the Sr IT Manager and work out of our Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid basis. Note: for the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their Production Planning, Production Execution and Quality management processes (collectively referred as SAP PP and QM), challenges, and requirements.
  • Solution Design: Design SAP S/4 HANA solutions for SAP PP and QM processes, considering industry best practices and business needs.
  • Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize SAP PP & QM modules according to business requirements, including MRP Live, ePPDS, Order types and related processes.
  • Integration: Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP PP/QM and other systems.
  • Testing: Develop and execute test scripts to ensure the configured solutions meet business requirements and perform as expected.
  • Training and Documentation: Provide training to end-users on new processes and functionalities. Create documentation including user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP PP & QM solutions, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and implementing enhancements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within SAP PP & QM, leveraging new features and functionalities of SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other consultants to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP consultant specializing in SAP PP and QM, with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Production Planning and Quality modules, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, including full lifecycle implementations and system conversions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
