Position Overview
We are seeking experienced SAP PS (Project Systems) Functional Consultants to support SAP Project Systems implementation, configuration, integration, and business process initiatives for a leading electrical manufacturing organization. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and cross-functional SAP teams to design and optimize project lifecycle processes within SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead functional activities for SAP Project Systems, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Configure and support WBS elements, networks, activities, milestones, project structures, project profiles, and project planning.
  • Manage project cost planning, budgeting, availability control, commitments, actual costs, and settlement.
  • Support project accounting and project lifecycle processes from planning through execution and closure.
  • Configure and support integration between SAP PS and FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PM, and Asset Accounting.
  • Support project procurement, material consumption, project-related purchasing, and project cost flows.
  • Work with manufacturing and engineering teams on project-based and/or customer-specific project processes.
  • Support period-end activities, settlement, results analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Participate in SAP S/4HANA transformation, implementation, rollout, enhancement, or migration projects.
  • Conduct requirements workshops, fit-gap analysis, functional design, testing, defect resolution, and user training.
  • Prepare business process documentation, functional specifications, configuration documentation, and test scripts.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on RICEFW objects, interfaces, reports, forms, and enhancements.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot complex SAP PS issues.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on SAP PS / Project Systems experience.
  • Strong functional configuration experience in SAP PS.
  • Experience with WBS, Networks, Activities, Milestones, Project Planning, Budgeting, Cost Planning, Availability Control, and Settlement.
  • Strong integration knowledge with FI/CO and MM; experience with SD/PP/PM is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
  • Experience with SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or production support projects.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting and project cost management.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP S/4HANA PS experience.
  • Manufacturing / electrical / industrial / engineering industry experience.
  • Experience with capital projects, engineer-to-order, make-to-order, or project-based manufacturing.
  • SAP PPM exposure.
  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
  • Experience with S/4HANA migration or transformation programs.
  • SAP PS certification is a plus.
