  • Deployment & Readiness: Oversee data migration, system testing, user training strategies, and cutover activities to ensure smooth deployment and rapid user adoption.
  • Support & Operations Management: Define and execute the transition from the project implementation phase into steady-state operations, including managing hypercare and establishing ITIL/ITSM-compliant support structures and SLAs.
  • Continuous Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, direct Managed Service Provider and offshore teams, and implement improvements to optimize SAP functionality and user experience.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to SAP environments.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing SAP implementation, configuration, and support.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience, with a proven track record of developing internal analysts.
  • Hands‑on experience leading at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation using SAP Activate methodology.
  • Proven experience managing SAP programs, driving organizational change management, and operating in large-scale enterprises with complex business processes.
  • Experience collaborating with offshore resources and directing Managed Service Provider support teams.
  • Experience working in specialty chemicals or process-based industries is highly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities
  • Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of SAP End-to-End Process areas: Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Produce, Asset Acquire to Retire, and Integrations.
