Job Description:
SAP SD/OTC Consultant will be supporting our clients SAP Project - Global Template. Our client has been rolling out SAP to different locations for 10 years and this project focused on their manufacturing locations.
The Global Template team has 6 separate functional/business process teams (SPT, PTP, MDM, OTC, RTR, DPS). This role works with in the OTC (Order to Cash) team. This role will work directly with the H-D business users in to define and document business process and be a liaison between the business and the Technical Consultants.
This position will be responsible for working with the Global Template project OTC team, gathering the business requirements for warranty management and providing standard and custom solutions as required. The candidate should define the warranty business process for any new warranty type in SAP and set up the standard VSR rules or custom process to automate the warranty approval process. The candidate should have the knowledge of how the warranty portal processes work and must be able to provide the portal solutions for warranty requirements. The candidate will be able to load the legacy warranty data into SAP to create the SAP warranty records for the history and open warranty issues. HD uses the VMS automotive solution to manage the vehicles sales process, the candidate should have the knowledge of VMS and should be able to work with registration process in VMS. Manage multiple master warranties for related products and automate the process using various material attributes.
Consultant will be responsible for configuration for OTC pricing for warranty, warranty, Setup VSR rules and creating functional specs.
Must Have Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP warranty management.
Requirement gathering.
Configuration for SAP warranty management and SAP pricing processes.
Creating Functional specification for custom processes.
Understanding of SAP user exists and BADI in warranty management.
Custom and SAP warranty portal experience.
Working experience in complete project life cycle.
Managed cutovers and hypercare processes for a largescale SAP warranty implementation.
