Position Summary

We areseekinga knowledgeable and engaging Billing & Revenue Trainer to lead the development and delivery of training programs for ourbackofficeteams supporting SAP ISU billing and revenue operations. This role is essential to ensuring employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate complex billing processes,maintaindata accuracy, and deliver exceptional service to our customers.As business needsevolve, this role may also support call center training initiatives and related communications to ensure alignment across frontline andbackofficeoperations. The preferred candidate should have utility experience. The duties and responsibilities outlined below are not allinclusiveand may be adjusted as business needschange.

Responsibilities

Training Program Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive training materials for SAP ISU billing and revenue processes.

  • Create role-based learning paths for new team membersand ongoing development for existing team members.

  • Incorporate adult learning principles and interactive methods to enhance engagement and retention.

Training Delivery

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for back-office billing and revenue teams.

  • Provide hands-on instructions in SAP ISU navigation, billing workflows, exception handling, and reporting.

  • Conduct refresher courses and upskill sessions in response to system updates or process changes.

  • Support crossfunctionaltraining initiatives, including call center training as business needsrequire functionaltraining initiatives, including call center training as business needs require

Collaboration & Support

  • Partner with Billing & Revenue leadership, IT, and SAP support teams to stay current on system enhancements and process changes.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for billing-related inquiries and troubleshooting.

  • Support change management initiatives related to SAP ISU upgrades or process redesigns.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Assess training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and post-training evaluations.

  • Identify skill gaps and recommend targeted learning interventions.

  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Communications

  • Draft and deliver clear,timely, and effective communications tobilling andrevenue teamsas well as call center teams as needed.

  • Ensure messaging supports training initiatives, system changes, and operational updates.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align communications with business goals and employee needs.

Education / Experience (Required)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Information Systems, or related field - or equivalent relevant experience in utility billing, training, or SAP ISU.

  • 3+ years of experience in SAP ISU billing and revenue processes, preferably in a utility or regulated industry.

  • Proven experience designing and delivering training programs for adult learners.

  • Strong understanding of SAP ISU modules including billing, invoicing, and revenue management.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and training development tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, or similar).

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • SAP ISU Certification or formal training.

  • Experience with back-office operations in utility billing and revenue.

  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning platforms.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting utility billing.

  • Working in the utility industry
