Roles and Responsibilities:
• Lead functional design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA EWM with MFS across end-to-end implementations.
• Own solutioning for automated warehouse processes, ensuring alignment with business and automation requirements.
• Design and govern EWM-MFS integration for ASRS, conveyor/sorter, shuttle systems, and AMR/AGV-based automation.
• Configure core EWM processes including inbound, outbound, internal movements, wave management, and RF.
• Drive testing, cutover, go-live support, and hypercare.
• Provide Principal Consultant leadership: mentor teams, ensure delivery quality, and support presales solutioning.
Skills /Competencies
Essential:
• Strong hands-on functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA EWM with multiple full lifecycle implementations.
• Proven experience in SAP EWM MFS, specifically in highly automated warehouse environments.
• Deep understanding of automation scenarios involving:
o ASRS
o Conveyor & Sorter systems
o Shuttle-based storage
o AMR / AGV-driven operations
• Expertise in core EWM configuration:
• Warehouse structure, strategies, WO/Wave, RF, monitoring, exception handling
• Proven experience mentoring teams and enforcing delivery excellence at scale.
• Define warehouse structure (storage types, bins, activity areas, work centers)
• Configure and optimize picking, putaway, replenishment, cross-docking, and slotting
• Implement RF framework, mobile data entry, and warehouse execution processes
• Configure PPF, wave management, labor management (if applicable), and monitoring tools
• Ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4 modules such as MM, SD, and PP
• Strong capability in MFS monitoring, telegram analysis, and issue resolution.
• Experience managing complex test cycles and leading customer UAT.
• Ability to translate business requirements into robust, standard-aligned SAP solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with customer architects and plant/warehouse leadership.
Preferred
• Experience leading large, global or multi-country EWM programs.
• Exposure to advanced EWM functions such as:
• Slotting & rearrangement, labor management, kitting, pack specification
• Strong integration exposure with SAP TM, PP/DS, QM, and SD/MM.
• Experience engaging with leading automation vendors and WCS/PLC teams.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Infosys delivery governance.
• Prior involvement in warehouse modernization or brownfield-to-automation transitions.
Additional Skills:
• Strong documentation skills: BBP, Functional Design Documents, SOPs, Training Material.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with structured defect and issue management.
• Presales and consulting mindset:
• Client advisory, value articulation, roadmap definition
• Familiarity with delivery tools such as Solution Manager, JIRA/ALM, ChaRM.
• Ability to operate effectively in matrixed, global delivery models.
