Senior Technical Lead – SAP HCM US Payroll

Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Jackson, MI may be required)

Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM US Payroll Senior Technical Lead to join a dynamic team supporting and enhancing enterprise HR and Payroll solutions. This role requires a strong technical background in SAP HCM and the ability to lead complex implementations, support activities, and business process improvements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance SAP HCM modules including: Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Benefits, US Payroll, Time Management
  • Configure and customize SAP HCM modules to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Design and optimize organizational structures, enterprise structures, payroll configurations, and time management policies.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Support workflow automation and HR process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company HR policies.
  • Manage integrations between SAP HCM and third-party applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payroll processing, benefits administration, time evaluation, time recording, and shift scheduling.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and support teams.
  • Drive best practices, code reviews, quality assurance, and performance optimization initiatives.
  • Lead technical discussions, solution reviews, effort estimations, and feasibility assessments.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of hands-on SAP HCM experience
  • Strong experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA HCM
  • Expertise in:
