Job Title: SAP FICO Functional Consultant

Location: Austin, TX (5x/ week onsite)

Introduction:

The SAP FICO Functional Consultant will be responsible for specializing in the design and configuration of SAP Finance modules, with a focus on SAP FI. They will work closely with the business to gather requirements, develop conceptual and detailed designs, configure SAP systems, write specifications for custom programs, conduct testing, and provide post go-live support.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and configure SAP Finance modules, with a focus on SAP FI
  • Participate in 2-3 full implementations of SAP FI modules
  • Gather business requirements and provide conceptual and detailed designs
  • Write detail specifications for development of custom programs
  • Coordinate transports to production and provide post go-live support
  • Create and deliver presentations to stakeholders
Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 5-10 years of experience in SAP FI
  • 5-10 years of experience in Analytical Thinking
  • Experience in SAP FICO functional specializing in design and configuration of SAP Finance modules
  • Experience in 2-3 full implementations of SAP FI modules
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations creation and delivery
  • Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO / FI-CA experience
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts
  • Bachelor''s Degree and Postgraduate degree (MBA / CA) required

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in high tech or software industries
