Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector (NGAS) is seeking anAssociateIndustrial Security Analyst (Level 1)orIndustrial Security Analyst(Level 2)to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals inMelbourne, Florida.

The selected candidate will have the responsibility of developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment in a fast-paced, high-profile portfolio of programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end SAP lifecycle activities, including nominations, access determinations, indoctrinations, continuous evaluation, and debriefings.
  • Process and track Program Access Requests (PARs); verify eligibility, need-to-know, billet alignment, and documentation accuracy.
  • Conduct and document SAP indoctrinations and debriefs; brief program-specific security rules, handling, reporting, foreign travel, and counterintelligence awareness.
  • Manage SAP visit control: prepare, submit, and verify visit certifications; coordinate classified visits; host and escort visitors; maintain visit logs.
  • Operate within SAPFs and closed areas: manage entry/exit controls, access rosters, badging, open/close procedures, storage and transmission of classified material, and alarm response coordination.
  • Maintain strict need-to-know and least-privilege access; monitor and reconcile access rosters; promptly removeaccesswhen no longer required.
  • Support program protection across personnel, physical, information, and operations security; assist with risk mitigation and incident response.
  • Assist with development, implementation, and maintenance of SAP security SOPs, indoctrination/debrief templates, access rosters, destruction records, and courier/hand-carry documentation.
  • Coordinate with government Program Security Officers (PSOs), Contractor/Government Special Security Officers (CPSO/GSSO), Information System Security teams, and program management to meet requirements and resolve issues.
  • Prepare for and support self-inspections, customer assessments, andaudits;track and close corrective actions.
  • Provide security education, training, and awareness tailored to SAP roles and responsibilities.
  • Support classified material accountability, marking, reproduction, transmission, and destruction in accordance with policy.
  • Utilize applicable systems and tools (e.g., DISS, NISS) for eligibility, visit certifications, and facility records, as required.
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and government customers; provide timely status updates and respond to data calls.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate Industrial Security Analyst (Level 1): bachelor's degree OR an additional 4 years of security experience will be considered in-lieu of a degree

  • Industrial Security Analyst (Level 2): bachelor's degree with 2 years of security experience OR an additional 4 years of security experience will be considered in-lieu of a degree

  • U.S. citizenship.

  • Active U.S. GovernmentSecret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) approval(s) prior to onboarding

  • Foundational knowledge of applicable security policies and guidance, such as 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoDM 5205.07 (SAP), and theJoint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG)for information systems within SAP.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and record-keeping; ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to brief individuals and small groups.

  • Proficiency with standard office software and file management.

  • Ability to work onsite in a SAPF/closed area environment and support time-sensitive program needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience supporting SAP or SCI programs in an industrial security role.

  • Experience with SAP access determinations, PAR processing, indoctrinations/debriefs, and SAP visit certifications.

  • Familiarity with SAPF/closed area operations and accreditation support activities.

  • Experience conducting self-inspections, preparing for customer inspections, and closing corrective actions.

  • Working knowledge of systems such asSIMS,DISS,NISS, and JADE; familiarity with RMF/JSIG environments.

  • Security training or credentials such as SFPC (SPeD) or completion of SAP-specific courses (e.g., SAPPC).

  • ActiveU.S. Government TopSecret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) approval(s) prior to onboarding

Primary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
