Job description

This highly technical position administers all aspects of an active SAP Oracle and SAP Hana environments. The DBA Resources interacts with the SAP Application team, Business Unit personnel, and other technical resources to ensure a highly available test and production environment is maintained.
  • Installation of new SAP HANA environments in our AWS Cloud platform
  • Perform upgrades of SAP Oracle environments to the latest SAP releases available
  • Monitors performance and performs tuning as needed
  • Capability execute backup and perform full or partial DB restores
  • Maintains non-production environments by replicating multiple SAP DB's from production to non-prod DB's
  • Must be able to document and execute upgrades and patch installations for either SAP Oracle or SAP Hana DB's

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • SAP Software and DB troubleshooting experience.
  • Support change deployments while minimizing impact to business users.
  • Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to identify and share best practices with team members.
  • Capability to seamless integrate with application users to support change requirements.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals and procedural documentation.
  • Ability to conduct research into system infrastructure performance issues and products as required.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Support change deployments while minimizing impact to business users.
  • Experience with SAP Oracle and SAP Hana DB's required
