Job Summary:
ECOM is seeking a SAP Database Administrator to administer and support their SAP database environment. The role involves performing DBA functions, supporting databases in Azure cloud, and providing consulting assistance to IT customers regarding application development.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and support SAP database environment, including HANA, DB2 and Sybase databases.
• Perform SAP DBA functions for multiple SAP environments such as backup, restore, assist in recovery from loss data caused by application, user or system error, performance tuning, security management, capacity planning etc.
• Setup and support databases in Azure cloud. Experience exporting, importing and converting data from big endian to little endian.
• Provide consulting assistance to IT customers regarding the development of applications using inscope databases.
• Develop and review production deployment implementation plans in compliance with IT production control requirements.
• Database Change Management to support applications and project service levels.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Administer and support SAP database environment, including HANA, DB2 and Sybase databases.
• Perform SAP DBA functions for multiple SAP environments such as backup, restore, assist in recovery from loss data caused by application, user or system error, performance tuning, security management, capacity planning etc.

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to research issues, resolve problems and answer questions related SAP databases, connectivity, availability and bolt-on/add-on vendor products when necessary.
• Excellent team player.
