Job Title: IT E-Commerce Business Analyst

Location: US-TX-Richardson - Onsite Monday - Friday - NO EXCEPTIONS!!

*This position is 100% onsite, requiring attendance 5 days a week at our Richardson, TX headquarters, Monday to Friday.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The E-Commerce Business Analyst will work cross-functionally with the manager, members of IT, and Digital. eCommerce & Marketing business teams to create a culture of high-quality execution.  This role will serve as the principal technical resource and business partner for the SAP Commerce B2B and B2C eCommerce portal effort and its implementation and enhancement to ensure that the company is properly positioned for future growth.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, understand, and translate business requirements into user stories or use cases for technical teams. 
  • Analyze requirements to enhance eCommerce websites and optimize user experiences. 
  • Provide functional expertise and insights during design discussions. 
  • Design user interaction models, workflows, and interfaces to ensure intuitive user experiences. 
  • Effectively communicate complex ideas in a simple, clear manner. 
  • Stay current with industry best practices and adhere to relevant standards. 
  • Manage relationships with both internal and external partners to drive project success. 
  • Ensure solutions align with the organization’s long-term IT strategy. 
  • Support feasibility studies, project assessments, and the initiation phase, including scoping, risk management, and estimation. 
  • Participate in testing activities to ensure high-quality solutions that meet requirements. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • SAP SD experience is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions and opportunities to non-technical decision-makers.
  • Experience delivering product demos when needed.
  • Familiarity with Agile project execution.
  • Basic project management experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on gathering requirements, system configuration, and customization.
  • Solution Design (Techno-Functional) – Ability to lead end-to-end B2B solutioning across systems.
  • SAP Hybris – B2B Commerce Expertise – Deep understanding of SAP Commerce (Hybris) B2B capabilities, processes, and customizations.
  • Stakeholder Management – Strong experience interfacing with business teams, product owners, architects, and developers.
  • Extensive experience in business analysis for eCommerce platforms such as Hybris, Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce, or Adobe Commerce.
  • Demonstrates a strong blend of functional and technical expertise.
