Position: SAP ABAP Developer
Experience Level: Intermediate (8+ Years)

Position Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in ABAP development, coupled with hands-on experience in OData Services and a deep understanding of core SAP modules including FI, FM, SD, and MM. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying robust SAP solutions, web components, and data structures to meet critical business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • SAP Development: Design, develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs, enhancements, interfaces, and reports to support business requirements.
  • OData Services: Architect, develop, and maintain OData Services to enable seamless integration between SAP and external systems or user interfaces.
  • Module Integration: Collaborate closely with functional teams to provide technical support and deliver solutions across Financial Accounting (FI), Funds Management (FM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Materials Management (MM) modules.
  • Web & Database Management: Develop and support web component applications, manage relational databases, and act as a Webmaster for designated platforms.
  • XML/XSD Management: Handle XML structures, including schema definitions and generation (XSD), ensuring data integrity and successful data exchange.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous unit testing, code reviews, and performance tuning to ensure technical solutions are efficient, secure, and adhere to best practices.

Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

  • Experience: A minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in a relevant technical field.
  • Core Technical Skills: Proven, hands-on experience in SAP ABAP programming and OData Service development.
  • Functional Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working with and integrating solutions within SAP FI, FM, SD, and MM modules.
  • Web & Architecture Expertise:
    • Extensive experience with web component applications.
    • Proficiency in XML, including schema definitions and generation (XSD).
    • Strong background in managing Relational Databases.
    • Prior experience serving in a Webmaster capacity.
  • Certifications: Must hold a relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
