Global Product Support Specialist- Rotary Drilling

We're looking for a hands-onGlobal Product Support Specialist - Rotary Drillingto be the technical go-to for our global sales areas - diagnosing complex mechanical, hydraulic, and control-system issues, commissioning new machines at mine sites around the world, and training our frontline teams and customers on the equipment they operate every day.

What You Will Do

As aGlobal Product SupportSpecialist, you will take technical ownership of Sandvik Rotary Drilling products in the field, supporting our frontline sales and service teams around the world. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Providingtimelytechnical support on Sandvik Rotary Drilling products to customer sites domestically and internationally.

  • Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical/control-system issues on rotary blasthole drills, including onboard control-system calibration, software installations, and firmware updates.

  • Leading on-site commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of new drill rigs and supporting New Product Introductions to sales areas.

  • Configuring drillcontrol-systemsoftware and machine parameters using Sandvik's frontline service tools.

  • Delivering hands-on classroom and mine-site training to Sandvik frontline teams, Sales Area Product Masters, technicians, and customers.

  • Investigating and resolving field issues through root cause failure analysis, in close collaboration with Product Engineering.

  • Reviewing Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) cases with Technical Support, Engineering, Sales, Product Management, and Manufacturing.

  • Advising onrecommended spare parts lists and warrantyrecommendations, andmaintaining Technical Support documentation.

About You

Work Authorization

  • Ability to work in the U.S. on a full-time indefinite basis without current or future employer sponsorship.Temporary work authorizations such as F-1 OPT/STEM OPT are not sufficient for this position.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of 10 years in a technical role supporting heavy mobile equipment, including at least 5 years working directly with drilling or comparable surface mining equipment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mining Engineering - oran equivalenttrade/technical qualification combined with extensive,demonstratedfield experienceondrilling or heavy mobile equipment.(Degrees in IT, computer science, or software engineering alone are nota fitfor this role.)

  • Proventrack recorddelivering hands-on technical training.


Skills, Travel & Certifications

  • Strong hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.

  • Working knowledge of PLC-based control systems and machine diagnostic tools.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities independently at remote sites.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills; solid Microsoft Office and technical/service software skills.

  • Willingness to travel internationally and domestically (~30-40%),including toremote mine sites.

  • Valid U.S. passport (or ability to obtain) and valid driver's licenserequired.MSHA (Part 46/48) and First Aid certifications preferred.
