Job description

Sandbox Team Lead

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) program as a Sandbox Team Lead. Coordinate the activities of the Sandbox team. Track, manage, and plan for sandbox provisioning in alignment with the EHRM Deployment schedule. Coordinate with the Deployment, training, and Change Management teams to ensure users are identified and appropriately provisioned into the sandbox. Track, manage, and monitor Cerner performance and delivery against sandbox requirements.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional work experience
  • Experience managing Information Technology related projects
  • Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
  • Able to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific/technical discipline or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the VA
  • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
