Job description

We are hiring an experienced and dependable CDL Truck Driver. The driver will haul materials such as sand, cement, aggregate, and related materials between suppliers, staging areas, and project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate dump trucks, tractor-trailers, pneumatic tankers, or other assigned commercial vehicles.
  • Load, transport, and deliver construction materials according to dispatch instructions.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Verify loads, delivery locations, tickets, and required documentation.
  • Follow DOT regulations, site safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatchers, supervisors, plant personnel, and site crews.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, fuel records, mileage reports, and delivery receipts.
  • Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in safe operating condition.
  • Assist with basic load securement and vehicle troubleshooting when necessary.
  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, or overtime when required.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL.
  • Clean or acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Current DOT medical certificate.
  • At least [6 months] of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Experience hauling sand, cement, aggregate, or other bulk construction materials preferred.
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission is a plus.
  • Tanker endorsement required if operating pneumatic or liquid-bulk equipment.
