Position Summary
The Account Manager - Samsung & Dacor Home Appliances is responsible for driving sales growth, market share, and profitability across independent retail partners within the Midwest territory. This role focuses on developing strong dealer relationships, executing brand strategies, and ensuring optimal product placement and training for both Samsung and Dacor, Samsung's luxury appliance line.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional with a passion for premium consumer electronics and home appliances, capable of combining data-driven insights with field-level execution.

Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Territory Management: Manage and grow sales across assigned independent dealers and regional retail partners throughout the assigned
  • Sales Growth & Targets: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives for both Samsung and Dacor product lines, emphasizing profitability and market share expansion.
  • Dealer Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers at dealer and distributor levels, including owners, buyers, and sales associates.
  • Product & Program Execution: Ensure full implementation of promotional programs, new model launches, and display initiatives across all retail partners.
  • Luxury Channel Leadership (Dacor): Drive sell-through and showroom presence for Dacor appliances; coordinate with design studios, builders, and premium appliance dealers.
  • Training & Advocacy: Conduct regular in-store product trainings, both group and one-on-one, to strengthen sales associates' product knowledge and advocacy for the brands.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive activity, dealer inventory, pricing trends, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and leadership reporting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure flawless program execution and alignment with corporate goals.

Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum5 years of field sales or account managementexperience, preferably inconsumer electronics, appliances, or luxury goods.
  • Experience working withindependent retailers and distributorsstrongly preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
    • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable sales strategies
    • High level of organization and attention to detail
    • Comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally
  • Other Requirements:
    • Must reside within the greater Kansas City, Omaha or Minneapolis area within close proximately to a major airport.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    • Willingness to travel within territory (up to 60%)

The salary range for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, and actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role. However, the salary ranges in the following regions are expected to be as follows:

Minnesota: $135,000 - $160,000 base

Regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) have access to benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Employee Purchase Program, Tuition Assistance (after 12 months), Paid Time Off, Student Loan Program (after 12 months), Wellness Incentives, and many more. In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
