Job description

Job Title: Color Sample Technician/Facilities Location: Shakopee, Minnesota Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $20/Hour Work Model: Onsite Hours: 7a-3:30p, M-F

Responsibilities

  • Create and assemble color samples (12 x 12) of façade and floor products.
  • Maintain sample inventory to support sales and customer needs.
  • Produce samples for tradeshows and customer orders.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Assist with mailroom and loading dock duties as needed.
  • Handle special projects as assigned.
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental policies.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements
  • No advanced degree required; experience in construction or related fields preferred.
  • Proficient with power tools (e.g., saws, drills, sanders) and hand tools (e.g., trowels, rollers).
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand, sit, or lift for extended periods.
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and enthusiasm to learn are essential.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
