Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Practice Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Glendale, AZ.

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant interviews patients, measures vital signs and records information on patients' charts, draws and collects blood samples and/or urine samples from patients, prepares specimens for laboratory analysis, and conducts a variety of diagnostic tests.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and play a key role in supporting our providers by facilitating orders, managing referrals, and ensuring smooth clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare examination rooms and assist with patient procedures.
  • Take and record vital signs and patient history.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a family practice or primary care setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in facilitating provider orders and managing referrals.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Shift: Full time
  • Shifts available between Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 6pm with mandatory 1 Saturday a month for half shift from 8:00am-12:00pm
LOCATION: Glendale Arizona with possible traveling to Surprise and/or Scottsdale as needed for coverage.
