Position Purpose:
The CX Lab and Sample Supervisor will be responsible for managing the Customer Experience (CX) Lab and leading the procurement and distribution of product samples. The position will be responsible for the management of the sample requests through LIMSey and the Sample Request Management (SRM) system, storage locations, inventory tracking, and the samples van, including overseeing the process and supervising others on the management of LIMSey and the SRM. The LSC will build and improve upon current processes to enhance and maximize efficiency for The Home Depot. This position will be accountable to drive compliance to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures, contracts, supplier buying agreements, and purchase orders throughout each process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 30% Day to Day Operations - Lead Day to Day operations of the sample procurement team.
  • 40% Manage CX Lab - Overall responsibility for the CX Lab, which includes identifying supplies and samples needed for various lLab projects, managing the procurement of such items, coordinating participation of all stakeholders involved in Lab projects, developing and maintaining a Lab project budget, and developing a lLab project schedule that aligns with business priorities and utilizes lab resources efficiently, and managing sample inventory flow among various Labs to align with business needs; This role will develop and then continually evaluate lLab processes to build efficiencies.
  • 10% Reporting - Manage lab and sample budgets and deliver metrics reporting..
  • 20% Supervise - Supervise Samples Team including managing performance, recognition and training and development of direct reports; Managing of service providers and training new LIMSev and SRM users.

Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).

Working Conditions:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
