  • 1st Shift: 7 AM – 3 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3 PM – 11 PM (+ $1/hour shift differential)
  • 3rd Shift: 11 PM – 7 AM (+ $2/hour shift differential)
  • Weekend Only Shifts - available on each shift
  • 12 Hour Shifts - available on each schedule

  • Hourly base pay for this position is between $26-$40, depending on experience

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Lead Manufacturing Supervisor, the Processing Technician II supports injection molding operations by performing machine start‑ups, troubleshooting processing issues, ensuring quality standards, and acting as a liaison between Production and Process Engineering. This role also supports HellermannTyton’s Quality and EHS certifications by following all corporate policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions for processing issues
  • Start up injection molding presses after mold changes, material changes, repairs, rehangs, or mold cleans
  • Monitor process parameters and ensure alarms are active
  • Submit first‑piece samples to the Quality Lab
  • Perform material changes and set scales
  • Manage regrind and scrap
  • Assist with automation alarms and troubleshooting
  • Accurately enter downtime and scrap data in the Mattec Process Monitoring System
  • Work with Industrial Engineering to ensure proper process documentation
  • Participate in technical meetings and support continuous improvement
  • Communicate using company radios while following radio etiquette
  • Maintain housekeeping standards (purge, scrap parts, equipment storage)
  • Support Quality, EHS, and certification requirements


Additional Duties

  • Evaluate current processing conditions and recommend improvements
  • Develop procedures and training/reference materials
  • Support internal and external audit preparedness
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Process Technician (preferred)
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude
  • Strong time management and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced injection molding education preferred


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods of time
