JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Sample & Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow, storage, and tracking of test samples, fixtures, and lab equipment. This role supports the Test Lab and Validation teams by ensuring materials are properly received, stored, distributed, and shipped.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong coordination skills, and takes a proactive approach to maintain organized workspaces and efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling & Coordination

  • Receive incoming samples and shipments; scan, log, and distribute to appropriate locations
  • Coordinate movement of samples, fixtures, and equipment between labs, storage, and teardown areas
  • Remove completed test samples and fixtures from labs and route for teardown or storage
  • Support lab and validation teams with material movement requests

Storage & Organization

  • Maintain organized storage areas for samples, fixtures, and lab equipment
  • Manage fixture inventory and ensure availability for lab use
  • Store excess equipment in an orderly and accessible manner
  • Proactively identify and improve storage organization

Shipping & Logistics

  • Coordinate outbound shipments of unused equipment and fixtures to long-term storage
  • Process shipments of post-teardown samples to warehouse facilities
  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all shipments

General Support

  • Assist with sample removal from fixtures when needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support lab operations

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics
  • Forklift operation experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow established processes and contribute to process improvements
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Expectations
