Job Description:

The Sourcing Coordinator supports the sourcing and production team by managing purchase orders, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring timely communication with factory partners. This role plays a critical part in keeping production on track by monitoring timelines, tracking progress, and supporting day-to-day coordination across vendors and internal teams.

Primary Responsibilities

Purchase Order & Data Management

  • Manage purchase order entry, tracking, and updates across active styles and seasons
  • Maintain accurate data in sourcing systems, including style, cost, vendor, and SKU information
  • Receive and upload final purchase order costs and delivery dates through Order Acknowledgements (OA)

Production Tracking & Coordination

  • Maintain time-and-action calendars and follow up with factories on key milestones using OSR tools
  • Track production progress, sample status, and on-time delivery performance
  • Support coordination of component timelines with suppliers through Vendor OSR

Factory Communication & Support

  • Distribute tech packs, specifications, and updates to factories, ensuring accuracy and acknowledgment
  • Support day-to-day communication with factories regarding production, sampling, and documentation
  • Receive and upload third-party inspection reports for finished goods

Reporting & Administrative Support

  • Prepare routine reports on purchase order status, production progress, and performance metrics
  • Support the Sourcing Manager and Director with ad hoc analysis, documentation, and project work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, production, or supply chain (apparel experience a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management systems
