Position Summary
The Licensing and Sample Coordinator works closely with leadership to support the production and launch of licensed products within the marketplace. This role manages licensor and retailer requirements, including artwork submissions, product approvals, license requests, and sample coordination to ensure timely approvals throughout the product development process. Responsibilities also include supporting license acquisitions and renewals, tracking royalty obligations, and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
This is a full-time, hybrid position in Mableton, GA.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Licensing Role and Responsibilities
    • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact with licensors, including CLC, Fanatics, Exemplar, and other licensing partners, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring effective communication across all licensing activities.
    • Collaborate with leadership to identify and submit new licensed product opportunities, including product category expansions and new license requests.
    • Submit licensed artwork, product concepts, and channel requests to licensors while managing the approval process to ensure timely feedback and authorization for production.
    • Track licensor samples in accordance with licensing agreements, ensuring proper documentation, timely submission, and compliance with all contractual requirements.
    • Prepare royalty reports for licensors by compiling royalty-bearing sales data for monthly and quarterly reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with licensing agreements by monitoring licensee activity, updating royalty rates, and maintaining accurate factory disclosure records in accordance with contractual requirements.
    • Support leadership in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with licensors and agents to advance the growth of the university brand.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on corporate responsibility surveys and participate in quarterly FLA trainings and webinars.
  • Sample Coordination
    • Collaborate with Product Development team to prepare trade show and showroom sample needs, including pulling, organizing, packing, and shipping required items.
    • Track and coordinate embellishment testing for product development samples to maintain quality standards
    • Organize and maintain studio sample inventory
    • Assist with receiving, unloading, and processing returning trade show samples and marketing materials
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in administrative support, brand licensing, or a related field
  • Knowledge of collegiate licensing and familiarity with fabric and material types preferred
