ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sample Coordinator is responsible for maintaining sample inventory, picking packing, shipping sample orders, working on tradeshows, special mailings, and supporting the sample team to reach goals.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

Hourly

Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5pm), Full-Time, Non-Exempt

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work with MS office, Net Suite and Made4Net, Tech ship to complete tasks.
  • Follow instructions associated with sample orders such as ship dates, special requests, and compliances like Hazardous materials.
  • Confirm the quality, imprint, and packaging of product is met when they arrive and prior to shipping.
  • Prepare kits for mailings and shows.
  • Choose the appropriate packing for shipments.
  • Ship domestic, international, hazardous Material through Tech ship, UPS, FedEx, USPS and others as necessary.
  • Prepare skids for shipment
  • Answer inquiries regarding product, order status, tracking information, sample policy, events, and shows.
  • Troubleshoot issues and customer complaints as they arise and work to resolve them.
  • Communicate issues with inventory, packing, shipping, mailings, and shows.
  • Maintain adequate Inventory, packing and shipping materials.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure clarity. English a must, Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to follow direction

  • Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract quickly and accurately.
  • Keyboarding skills – accuracy is important
  • PC knowledge MS office, Teams, Made4Net, Tech ship, Net Suite, ability to adjust and learn
  • FedEx, UPS, USPS, Hazmat, and international shipping a plus
  • Operate pallet mover
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on occasion
  • Ability to work independently, self motivated, and with a team
  • High School diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing this job, the employee may stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus.
