Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

  • You will be responsible for coordinating the nursing care of assigned patients in the Unit in order to provide quality patient care to patients.
  • You will be responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the appropriate age populations.
  • You will provide and supply professional nursing care exercising independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Current Texas license as RN.
  • Current BCLS issued from American Heart Association
  • 1-year of Day Surgery experience as a licensed RN in an acute care setting required
