Job description


CFC Auto Salvage is looking to add a fulltime cashier/customer service clerk to our team. This person needs to have prior employment in a customer service/cashier type position preferably even dealing with car parts and someone that has even had some management/leadership experience. This will be a position that will work into a key holder position.


Basic Job Functions

Must have a great attention detail and possess excellent organizational skills.

Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office and Outlook

Must be able to work Saturdays as scheduled and must be dependable

Must process and maintain daily paperwork

Must have reliable transportation with a valid drivers license

Must be able to complete and pass all required background checks before employment

Be able to oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures

Process customer transactions with accuracy using cash register and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process

Must be able to read,write and perform basic math as you will need to complete data entry

Perform data entry task with precision, maintain accurate records and support inventory management

Co-manage our facebook business page and create ads and promos to post weekly/monthly

Must be able to identify automotive parts to sale; assist with the sale of used vehicles and provide detailed information.

Must be able to use cash register and enter auto parts in the system accurately


Daily opening and closing procedures which consist of cleaning inside the store. At times you will be needed to do some outside work which may consist of yard inspections, cleaning up around the salvage yard, checking material to make sure it's items that we can sell and checking to make sure customers are off the yard at closing.


Must be able to stand and move freely for long periods of time without any physical restrictions or limitations.

You will be dealing with customers on a daily basis so you will need to be able to assist them with any questions they may have and be able to deal with any customer issues as they arise.
