About Us:

We are a highly rated, upscale shop looking for a highly motivated and experienced Salon Manager/Stylist/Barber to lead our dynamic team. We are well located with street-facing exposure in a high traffic and popular shopping center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both hair styling, men's grooming and leading a successful salon operation. You will have the opportunity to lead, grow, and thrive in an environment that rewards talent and dedication. This shop is successful and growing - We are seeking a a strong leader to use all of our strengths and take us to the next level of growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Salon Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day salon operations including maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment for both clients and staff.
  • Staff Management: Lead a team of stylists and barbers, manage schedules, and assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new staff.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain clients, including social media presence, local advertising, and local business events.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service quality and client satisfaction. Ensure consistent customer retention levels.
  • Sales & Revenue: Drive service sales and retail product sales, track performance, and set goals for the team. Be proactive in upselling services and products to increase shop revenue.
  • Profit Share & Financial Oversight: Monitor financial health, analyze expenses, and work closely with ownership to maximize profits and growth. As part of the compensation package, you will be entitled to a generous profit share percentage.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the salon's product inventory, ensuring appropriate stock levels and reordering when necessary.
  • Contribute material to our social media campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • PROVEN leadership experience as a salon manager or salon owner, with a track record of success in managing salon operations and growing clientele.
  • Must be willing to lead by example, set the tone and drive success.
  • Proven experience in handling situations positively and on the fly.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing flawless client experiences.
  • Well-developed ability to retain and rebook clients before leaving the shop.
  • In-depth knowledge of the beauty industry, including trends, products, and services.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current, active cosmetology or barbering license.
  • Sales-driven with a focus on growth and profitability.
  • Marketing experience, including social media and local advertising.
  • Must provide references of prior success.
