Job description

Salon Manager - High Traffic, High Growth (Cosmetology License Required)
The Opportunity: You aren't just a stylist anymore; you're the CEO of your own floor.
Because we are located inside Walmart, we have a built-in audience that most salons would give anything for. As a Salon Manager here, you aren't fighting for walk-ins, you're managing the flow, coaching your team, and driving the success of a high-volume business.
Why Lead This Salon?
  • The Hub of the Community: You are leading a salon in the busiest spot in town. Your team stays busy, your day goes by fast, and your influence is huge.
  • Real Financial Upside: Beyond your base production pay, we offer Monthly and Annual Bonus incentives based on your salon's growth and guest counts. If you grow the business, you reap the rewards.
  • Career Growth: This isn't a "placeholder" job. You'll be hiring, training, and mentoring stylists, giving you real leadership experience that separates you from the rest of the industry.
  • Autonomy with Support: You run the floor and manage the culture, backed by a Market Leader who actually knows the business.

What You'll Be Doing (The "Real" Version):
  • Building a Powerhouse Team: You'll recruit, interview, and hire talent. You won't just fill chairs, you'll coach stylists to be the best in the business.
  • Mastering Operations: You'll handle the scheduling, inventory, and "the numbers" to make sure the salon is profitable and stocked.
  • Leading by Example: You're still a pro behind the chair. You'll show the team how it's done by providing great cuts, color, and guest service.
  • Managing the Vibe: You keep the salon clean, professional, and positive. Yes, that means you ensure the towels are folded, the stations are sanitized, and the team is working together.
  • Solving Problems: From guest complaints to scheduling conflicts, you handle it all with professionalism and ease.

What We're Looking For:
  • The License: You must have a current Cosmetology or Barber license (and a Manager's license if your state requires it).
  • The Hustle: You are comfortable working at least 38 hours a week, including the busy times (evenings and weekends).
  • The Mindset: You aren't just looking for a title; you're looking to lead. You're tech-savvy, good with basic math, and can handle administrative tasks without breaking a sweat.
  • Reliability: You're the heartbeat of the salon. You need to be there for your team and your guests.

Physical Reality:
  • You'll be active and on your feet most of the day.
  • You'll be working with salon chemicals and fragrances.
  • You'll be reaching, bending, and occasionally lifting supply boxes (approx. 20-25 lbs).
  • You'll need sharp vision for detail and color to maintain quality standards.

Ready to lead a team and build a business that actually moves?
Apply today. Let's see what you can do.
