Job description

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery and ongoing enhancement of Salesforce solutions across business functions, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technology standards.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to understand requirements, evaluate options, and translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership for Salesforce architecture, configuration, customization, integrations, data management, security, and platform capabilities.
  • Manage and prioritize Salesforce enhancements, projects, defects, technical debt, and operational activities in alignment with established roadmaps and priorities.
  • Lead Salesforce administrators, developers, business analysts, architects, and external partner resources to ensure effective delivery and platform support.
  • Manage Salesforce implementation and managed-service partners, including delivery quality, resource utilization, timelines, dependencies, and service-level commitments.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate Salesforce development, testing, deployment, documentation, and change-management practices.
  • Oversee Salesforce releases and production deployments, ensuring appropriate testing, risk assessment, approvals, and implementation processes.
  • Ensure effective integration of Salesforce with enterprise applications and platforms through APIs, middleware, and other integration technologies.
  • Drive improvements in Salesforce platform adoption, performance, data quality, usability, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and address technical debt, platform risks, and opportunities to leverage new Salesforce capabilities.
  • Provide regular status, risk, dependency, & delivery updates to technology leadership & business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce/SFDC, with significant experience in Salesforce implementation, development, administration, architecture, or platform management.
  • Experience in leading Salesforce teams & delivering complex Salesforce initiatives in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, customization, security, data model, integrations, and Lightning Platform.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
  • Experience managing Salesforce implementation partners, managed-service providers, & distributed technical teams.
  • Experience with Salesforce SDLC, release management, testing, deployment, and production support processes.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware etc
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions and actionable technical plans.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, delivery dependencies, risks, & competing business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform Developer, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Architect certifications.
  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps and deployment tools such as Copado, Gearset, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or other enterprise integration technologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce products such as Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, or other Salesforce ecosystem capabilities.
  • Experience leading Salesforce modernization, migration, consolidation, or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment and managing technology vendors or strategic partners.
