DECAL seeks an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to support enterprise-level Salesforce integrations, focusing on government system implementations and mentoring junior developers.

Complete Description

Position Overview: The Dept. Early Care & Learning (DECAL) seek an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to support enterprise-level Salesforce integrations, focusing on government system implementations and mentoring junior developers. While the intent may be a long-term tenure, this position is subject to annual budget restrictions. The initial contract is through the end of this fiscal year and is anticipated to be renewed July 1st.

Work Location & Attendance
  • Physically located in Georgia
  • On-site: Tuesday to Thursday: 2 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SE, 754 East Tower Atlanta, Georgia 30334
  • Mandatory in-person meetings
Key Responsibilities
  • Custom Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Aura components and Lightning Web Components
  • Database Management: Create and manage Salesforce objects and fields, write SOQL queries, and ensure data integrity
  • Integration: Build and maintain integrations with third-party services using REST and SOAP APIs
  • System Configuration: Configure Salesforce settings, manage user roles and permissions, and set up Lightning flows
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and fix bugs, provide technical support to end-users, and monitor system performance
  • Technical Leadership: Lead technical design sessions, mentor junior developers, and ensure the overall technical quality of Salesforce implementations
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience: 7+ years Salesforce development
  • Technical Skills:
    • Apex Programming
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC): Proficiency in developing modern, responsive UIs.
