This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to be a part of the technical design and implementation Salesforce solutions team. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on development expertise to deliver innovative solutions for our government clients. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-level Salesforce solutions on a development team. Key responsibilities include: * Design scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and technical standards * Lead technical design sessions and provide guidance to development teams * Develop complex customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies * Create and maintain technical documentation including solution design documents * Establish best practices for development, security, and performance optimization * Mentor junior developers and provide technical oversight of deliverables * Evaluate new Salesforce features and technologies for potential implementation * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutions * Manage integration with external systems and third-party applications Education and Experience Required: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 6+ years of Salesforce development experience * Salesforce Platform Developer II certification * Tableau Desktop Foundation certification Required Skills and Competencies: * Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations * Advanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce development * Strong understanding of Salesforce security models and sharing architecture * Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices * Proven experience using Tableau software with Salesforce reporting * Proven experience designing large-scale Salesforce implementations * Strong knowledge of API integration patterns and middleware solutions * Experience with data migration and ETL tools * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Strong communication and leadership abilities * Experience with Agile development methodologies Security Requirement: * Ability to obtain public trust clearance Desired Skills and Competencies: * Experience with government IT projects * Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirements * Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms * Additional certifications in Salesforce specialty clouds * Experience with AI/ML implementation in Salesforce * Experience with GearSet * Experience with GitHub * Knowledge of DevSecOps practices * Experience with change management in enterprise environments Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy The company is an equal opportunity employer.
