This role focuses on program planning, requirements gathering, process optimization, solution design and stakeholder management of the Salesforce solution with a deep industry knowledge in Financial Services.


What you will do

As a Salesforce Technical Lead your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Lead a team of functional resources (business analysts, functional consultants) to design and implement Salesforce solution design 
  • Working closely with functional leads and solution architects to design overall application architecture and ensure alignment with business goals and functional designs while adhering to platform best practices.
  • Bring deep experience designing robust, large and complex Salesforce solutions, within Financial Services industry. 
  • Lead the definition of business requirements: Translate business needs and pain points into clear user stories, functional designs, and acceptance criteria.
  • Business process optimization: Identify painpoints in the current business process and recommends process optimizations to support increased productivity and cost take out activities. This includes fit gap analysis and future state process mapping.
  • Lead solution design: Map out platform design utilizing Salesforce functionality to meets the needs of the business. Outline both OOTB functionality and customization requirements.
  • Client stakeholder management: Align executives, departmental leaders, and business teams on roadmaps, design, and platform capabilities.
  • Provide guidance to and ensure alignment of team members in preparation for client meetings, presentations, demos, or other required project forums 
  • Lead team members on the creation of detailed design and documentation of each component of the solution including definition of design workshops, user story definition, test script development. This include leveraging agile implementation frameworks and meetings.
  • Performs regular reviews on the deliverables produced by project team members.  
  • Support for pre-sales activities, acting as a functional SME to assist team in preparing and presenting proposals, RFP responses, and tailored demonstrations. 
  • Staying current on Salesforce platform capabilities/offerings and related technologies.

What you bring to the role
  • Advanced knowledge of the Salesforce solution, specifically Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Agentforce.
  • Strong experience (8+ years) designing and delivering Salesforce implementations and integrating Salesforce to external systems.
  • Salesforce certifications in Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Agentforce. 
  • nCino experience, nice to have.
  • Experience leading a team through the Salesforce planning and design process for client engagements.
  • Experience with the implementation of large, complex, enterprise-wide Salesforce solutions within the Financial Services Industry.  Capital markets, corporate/commercial banking is an asset.
  • Familiarity with dev-ops processes and best practices using commonly used tools 
  • Commitment to building a diverse and inclusive team 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Fully bilingual (French/English).
