As a Salesforce Service Cloud Architect, you will lead the transformation of the Merchant Acquiring ecosystem by designing scalable, AI-enabled solutions that support merchant acquisition, onboarding, servicing, fulfillment, and growth. Partnering with business, product, operations, and technology leaders, you will simplify complex processes, modernize customer and employee experiences, and deliver seamless end-to-end merchant journeys.

This role requires a strategic technology leader who can define target-state architectures, drive platform modernization, and leverage Salesforce Service Cloud, automation, AI, cloud technologies, APIs, and event-driven architectures to improve operational efficiency and unlock new business capabilities. You will lead enterprise-scale transformation initiatives, establish reusable architecture standards, and champion innovation, Agile delivery, DevSecOps, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable Salesforce Service Cloud solutions to support customer service, case management, and contact center operations.

  • Lead architecture, design, and development activities across Salesforce Service Cloud, Agentforce, Data Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Framework, Flows, and SOQL.

  • Define end-to-end solution architectures, technical roadmaps, integration strategies, and future-state platform designs aligned with business objectives.

  • Architect and develop enterprise integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.

  • Design and optimize customer engagement capabilities including Omni-Channel, Live Agent Chat, Einstein Bots, CTI integrations, and contact center technologies.

  • Establish multi-cloud data models, oversee data migration strategies, and define data governance, security, sharing rules, and visibility frameworks.

  • Drive Salesforce DevOps practices leveraging Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated deployments, and environment management.

  • Lead discovery workshops, gather and analyze business requirements, create user stories, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

  • Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and reusable design patterns that promote scalability, performance, and maintainability.

  • Collaborate with business, product, operations, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions using Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, and guide onshore and offshore resources throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce architecture standards, governance controls, security best practices, and operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Five to six years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years of Salesforce architecture and solution design experience.

  • Deep expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, Agentforce, Data Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Framework, Flows, and SOQL.

  • Strong experience implementing Omni-Channel, Live Agent Chat, Einstein Bots, CTI integrations, and customer service/contact center solutions.

  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and event-driven architectures.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, data architecture, data migration strategies, governance frameworks, security models, and sharing/visibility rules.

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, release management, automated deployments, and environment management.

  • Expertise in solution architecture, architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, and scalable cloud-based design patterns.

  • Experience leading discovery sessions, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and Agile/Scrum delivery practices.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and mentoring onshore/offshore development teams.

  • Ability to bridge business objectives and technical solutions while influencing stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.

  • Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives.

Location expectations

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00
