Job description

Role: Salesforce Product Owner

Client Domain: Salesforce consulting, digital transformation, and technology.

Job location: Remote anywhere in the United States.

We are looking for a dynamic Salesforce Product Owner who will work in a high-performance project team responsible for building enterprise-level solutions, with a focus on eCommerce Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns the Product Vision, Product Roadmap and Product Backlog
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product
  • Help to define the short and long-term roadmap for an eCommerce platform: new features; improvements that align to both the product and the company strategy; technical improvements which are keeping the eCommerce platform up-to-date.
  • Develop scope and define backlog items (epics/features/user stories)
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Create, prioritize, develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
  • Perform UAT on a daily basis
  • Identifies and helps the team understand the business model, value and value proposition
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product
  • Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams
  • Requirements & specifications: gather and document requirements from both external and internal sources, and convert into high-level and detailed feature specifications
  • Work with the development team to execute the product vision
  • Analyze and track competitors and stay on top of industry and market trends
  • Help the client Product Owner to articulate detailed user stories, and answer questions as the business and customer representative
  • Support the client Product Owner to conduct user acceptance testing for digital channels and necessary training
  • Provide timely support to business regarding system configurations, settings and workflow management, provide training to business teams for eCommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Commercetools, Shopify)

Requirements:

  • At least 8+ years of total tech experience
  • Must have Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience (system configurations, settings and workflow management)
  • Excellent experience as a product owner
  • Creative, strategic thinker
  • Product Management experience
  • Excellent communication skills for client interactions

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience with other eCommerce platforms (Magento, Commercetools, Shopify)
