Salesforce Implementation Partners are organizations certified by Salesforce to deliver large-scale implementations and services, often working across multiple clients. Salesforce Consultants are professionals with certifications who analyze client needs and implement Salesforce solutions. While both roles require Salesforce certifications, Implementation Partners typically operate within partner organizations, whereas Consultants may work independently or within consulting firms. Understanding these differences helps businesses choose the right expertise for their Salesforce projects.

What is a Salesforce Implementation Partner?

A Salesforce Implementation Partner is a certified consulting firm or organization that specializes in helping businesses adopt, customize, and optimize Salesforce solutions. These partners guide companies through the entire implementation process, from planning and configuration to integration and training. Their expertise ensures that Salesforce is tailored to meet the unique needs of each business, maximizing the platform’s effectiveness. Engaging with an implementation partner can help streamline deployment, reduce risks, and accelerate return on investment.

What are some common challenges faced by Salesforce Implementation Partners during client projects, and how can they be addressed?

Salesforce Implementation Partners often encounter challenges such as managing complex customizations, aligning client expectations with platform capabilities, and ensuring user adoption post-launch. Successfully navigating these issues requires clear communication with stakeholders, thorough requirement gathering, and phased rollouts with ongoing training. Collaborating closely with internal teams and client representatives helps mitigate risks and ensures a smoother implementation process.

Job Description:

Role Overview

As AI Specialist / Vibe Coder, you will be the rapid-build engine of Fluence's GTM Technology and Automation team. You will design and configure AI agents, prototype automation workflows, build Salesforce Flow logic, and ship working proofs-of-concept in days - not weeks. You sit at the intersection of AI tooling, low-code platforms, and commercial operations, working directly with Sales and Marketing teams to turn workflow ideas into live, adopted automation.

You will own the execution of AI use cases across Agentforce, Gong integrations, and Salesforce-native automation, operating as a key delivery partner to the Director, to IT team, and to the implementation partner. This role requires someone who builds real things, not someone who consults on them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and iterate on Agentforce agents for Sales use cases including account briefs, proposal support, and next-best-action recommendations

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce Flow automations that reduce manual handoffs, enforce lifecycle rules, and surface timely signals to reps and managers

  • Prototype rapid AI and automation proofs-of-concept for stakeholder review, with a target turnaround of one to three days per prototype

  • Support third-party implementation partner(s) on AI-adjacent implementation decisions, acting as the business-side AI authority during platform builds

  • Produce adoption aids and internal tooling including prompt guides, workflow reference materials, quick-start assistants, and in-platform help content

  • Evaluate new LLM and agent capabilities continuously and translate them into practical, governed, high-value business improvements

  • Collaborate with IT on security review, data access governance, and production deployment of all AI-powered workflows

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams in discovery sessions to define automation requirements and validate that shipped solutions match real workflows

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce automation, including Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, or equivalent declarative tools

  • Demonstrated experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or AI agent frameworks - you have built agents or automated workflows using language models

  • Proven ability to deliver working prototypes rapidly from a standing start; a portfolio of things you have shipped matters more than certifications

  • Comfortable working directly and frequently with non-technical commercial stakeholders to define requirements and validate solutions

  • Strong understanding of B2B commercial workflows: lead lifecycle, opportunity management, pipeline reporting, and proposal processes

  • Solid grasp of data security and governance principles relevant to AI systems, including prompt injection risks, data access scoping, and audit logging

Additional Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Agentforce or Einstein Copilot agent configuration

  • Experience with Gong, Demandbase, or similar GTM platforms and their integration patterns is a strong plus

  • Experience working alongside third-party implementation partners in a sprint-based delivery model

  • Background in energy, infrastructure, industrial SaaS, or other complex B2B environments
