Job description

Flexco, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking an experienced developer, who is a skilled communicator and a customer focused person, for the position of Salesforce Developer, based out of our Downers Grove, Ill. location. The chosen candidate will work with the solution architect and product manager, to develop customer-facing applications and programs. 

Relocation and full remote work will not be considered at this time. Candidates must be able to interview and work on site, in Downers Grove, IL. 

Purpose:

  • This role will develop and maintain applications, programs and integrations for the customer experience value stream based on the product roadmap. Value stream solutions include Sales Cloud, B2B Commerce, Youreka and Boomi.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in development 
  • Front-end development using Salesforce tools
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
  • Integration development using Boomi or similar tool

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Analysis, design and development of applications and programs in coordination with the solution architect and product manager.
  • Ability to write, translate and code applications and programs according to specifications and user needs.
  • Ability to write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or appearance of applications.
  • Assist in deployment of new programs and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Install and configure relevant components.
  • Diagnose and resolve application performance issues.
  • Develop, code, install, test, debug and document applications using appropriate editors.
  • Write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections.
  • Support applications and programs.
  • Conduct unit testing on applications and programs.
  • Participate in user testing, user training and documentation.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Written communication and verbal communication skills for working with users and stakeholders.
  • Ability to organize ideas and plan goals.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of group dynamics and effective team building skills.
  • Salesforce Lightning UI customization and API development, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce B2B Commerce
  • Boomi or similar.
